Rural Business Awards Finalist
We’re delighted to announce we’ve been shortlisted as a finalist in the Rural Business Awards, in partnership with Amazon, in the Best Rural Tourism Business category for the East region.
The ceremony takes place in October at Ipswich’s Trinity Park when we will find out whether we’ve been successful in achieving this award…which of course we’d be thrilled to do and would be a huge accolade.
These awards recognise the contribution a rural business makes to a local economy which is very important to us. The farm in which our accommodation is set on has been part of our family for 80 years so we are firmly, and proudly, rooted in our local community. Giving back and contributing to our community is a strong part of our ethos.
Joint Founder of the Rural Business Awards, Jemma Clifford, said:
“The Suffolk Escape is a small family firm with a real passion for the bespoke self-catering cottages that it offers, as well as the wider rural community in which it operates. We were impressed with the firm’s emphasis on, not only the quality of its guests’ experiences, but also how the firm promotes the rural way of life to its visitors and encourages them to explore and engage with the local area; and its partnership with local suppliers means that the benefit of this business to the local countryside economy is maximised. We were pleased to name The Suffolk Escape as a finalist in the Best Rural Tourism Business category in our East Region and we wish them every success in the Regional Final in October.”
