Lucky Suffolk Magazine Winner!

At the end of last year, we teamed up with Suffolk Magazine to offer one lucky reader of the magazine an opportunity to win a four night, mid week break for two people in one of our log cabins.

Throughout January we received hundreds and hundreds (and hundreds!) of entries correctly answering our question about our luxury log cabins – what are our four log cabins named after? The options were Suffolk rivers, Suffolk towns and villages or Suffolk historical buildings. Which would have been your guess?!

We are passionate about Suffolk and feel so fortunate that we could easily have named the cabins after any of those options because of the rich history, natural beauty and many attractions that Suffolk has to offer, to name a few. But we chose some of our favourite places to visit – Aldeburgh, Kersey, Lavenham and Southwold. These are also places we recommend to guests to visit when they’re staying with us – if they can tear themselves away from the comfort of their cosy cabin, of course! – and also offer suggestions of good places to eat or things to do in these areas. Back to the competition (we could talk about Suffolk for hours!)…one lucky reader was randomly selected after the competition deadline on 31st January and we’re delighted to announce our winner was Jenny Clay from Essex!  Jenny and her guest are coming to stay with us in March and we’re very much looking forward to welcoming them here for a relaxing and peaceful break.
