Happy Holidays Once Again!

Just over a month since reopening and what a month its been!  It’s been a real pleasure welcoming guests back to the log cabins and Sheepyard Barn, and lovely to see the accommodation full of life again.

We’ve been fully booked with single households since 12th April so we got back into the swing of things very quickly! The team are doing a tremendous job, as always, of ensuring the lodges and barn are thoroughly cleaned, sanitised and meeting our additional covid cleaning protocols.

This week has seen another positive step in the Governments roadmap of easing out of lockdown and for us means we can have even more guests to enjoy a relaxing break away by being able to host mixed households. To see friends and family sharing good times has brought a genuine smile to our face.

We’ve received some wonderful feedback from guests who have recently stayed and hope those with bookings for the coming months will have equally memorable escapes with us.

“A really fabulous cabin by the lake it has all you could need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Looking out over the lake each morning with the sun rising each morning couldn’t have been more beautiful and the sunsets too! We stayed for four nights and had lots to see and do across the county of Suffolk. The cabin was spotless with everything you need. Can’t wait to come back.”

“We have recently returned from a midweek stay and once again had a wonderfully relaxing break. We were due to visit last November however this was not possible for obvious reasons but moving our booking was effortless with assistance from Jess. We love staying here as it is so peaceful and we can truly unwind. The cabins also look and feel as if they are still brand new. We were blessed with nice weather and took advantage of the outside seating and dining area but we equally love coming in winter and using the log burner to create a cosy retreat.
