Guest’s Feedback with a Key Reason to Book With Us

We have just received this wonderful feedback posted below on Trip Advisor by one of our guests.  It highlights superbly some of the key features The Suffolk Escape offers which help to make a stay with us so perfect and relaxing.  Myself Andrew, as the owner,  just wanted to pull out one key element that makes one of the biggest differences:

“Booking admin and other information and support was really well organised by Assistant Manager Jess, who couldn’t be more helpful or friendly.”

We are so fortunate to have Jess as part of the team here.  She is hugely passionate about our business and ensuring anyone coming to stay with us has the best experience possible. Jess is often looking at each communication point we have with our customers and seeing how we can improve that experience. The reason that is so key and makes the difference for our guests is that we do not see a booking as just a holiday for a few nights.  It is actually about ensuring the whole “journey” from enquiry to after they leave from their escape is smooth, hassle free and an absolute pleasure.  This is where Jess excels, as those that deal with her I am sure would echo.

I know one of Jess’s personal highlights of her role is getting to meet the guests during their stay.  She truly values getting that first hand feedback about their stay, ensuring they are thoroughly relaxed and have everything they need and helps the business ensure it is truly in touch with our guests.

Knowing how humble Jess is she would never write this herself so I will sneak this post on!

Owner & Maintenance Man, The Suffolk Escape

“My wife and I enjoyed a brilliant 4 day break here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and I can honestly say that Suffolk Escape is excellent in so many ways. The accommodation, 4 luxurious log cabins set around their own small lake but cleverly situated to give each complete privacy, was very comfortably furnished and well equipped. The owners and staff were all lovely, although they pretty much left us completely alone during our stay. Booking admin and other information and support was really well organised by Assistant Manager Jess, who couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. There were lots of small details to make us feel very welcome, including homemade croissants with butter and jam, local hens’ eggs, orange juice, and even an anniversary card! There is a lovely walk around the farm in the gentle rolling countryside, giving us a chance to enjoy the fresh air and the local wildlife. The surrounding area has lots of places to visit including the beautiful wool towns of Lavenham, Kersey and Hadleigh, the coastal towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh, Woodbridge and Sutton Hoo, and local reserves including nearby Wolves Wood and RSPB Minsmere. We look forward to returning in the future, perhaps at a warmer time of the year so that we can take more advantage of the sundeck and the hot tub.  Alan. March 2023”
