Barn Progress – Early June

Work is going well  on the new conversion project to create a holiday barn further down on the farm.  So far we have repaired the old barn’s roof frame, fitted a new roof, made up the new window openings and repointed all the lime mortar.

Next week we start digging the footings for the new element on the front which will have the open plan living space with lots of glass, indoor pool and boot room.

We hope to be finished by Easter 2017 and we delighted to be getting lots of exciting interest from our log cabin guests.  We are doing a lot of the work ourselves so if guests are walking by please feel free to stop and say hello.
