A Thank You From Our Ukrainian Family

 

Many of our holiday guests very kindly left donations during their holiday at the log cabins or Sheepyard Barn to go towards a surprise experience for a Ukrainian refugee family the owners, Andrew & Sarah, have living with them.

We looked at various ideas with them and it was decided a trip to London to see the highlights, including a night in a hotel.

Iryna, Denys & Anastasia told us they had the most amazing time and said it was one of the best days of their lives.

We wanted to share their experience so that those who very kindly donated were able see a quick snapshot of what they got up to….by the end of the two days everyone was pretty shattered!!!

Thank you to you all for your generosity – you put some huge smiles on all of their faces and gave them an experience they will never forget.

We are planning on continuing the idea so guests can leave donations towards helping make their Christmas extra special as they will be away from their family and friends.

So if you are staying with us, please do continue to donate any loose change you may have at the end of your stay.
