It Never Fails to Blow Us Away

“We returned for the second time to The Suffolk Escape this weekend and it never fails to blow us away.

The lodges are simply beautiful, the lake is full of wildlife. We have seen hares, herons, ducks, ducklings, even a beautiful kingfisher.

I have been recovering from a recent operation and this was the perfect tonic to rest and heal.

Thank you to Andrew and all his team for the very welcome tea, coffee bags, fresh orange, fresh milk, beautiful brownies and gorgeous croissants (ready to put in the oven) with jam and cream. Very welcome after our long drive.

We have spent time visiting local towns, farm shops, food halls and even been to the seaside.

We are just planning returning next year for our third visit.

The weather has been amazing, eating outside, watching the fish has been priceless.

We watched the sunset with a glass of fizz, again making memories.
